The Coronel Oviedo Telethon Rehabilitation Center, the second one of this type in Paraguay and the first in the interior of the country, started providing rehabilitation services to the disable children from the zone.

The new CRIT counts with a permanent high level team of professionals
The national records indicate that most of the children suffering from discinetics brain paralysis come from this area that is why the Coronel Oviedo institute will have one of the largest fluency of people using rehabilitation services.
The families are receiving integral services through different specialties such as physiotherapy, phonoaudiology, psychology, pediatric, and educative inclusion as well as through the social communitary area.
The Coronel Oviedo CRIT is planning to assist 200 families during this first year, summed up to the 550 ones that are assisted at the Asunción Center where families that come from the 17 provinces are treated.
The Coronel Oviedo CRIT counts with a permanent high level team of professionals that are guided by the Asunción CRIT professionals who visit the Coronel Oviedo center weekly to support the team and help them with the integral evaluations of the users in the areas of neuropediatry, physiatry, educative inclusion, social inclusion and psychlogy.
The Coronel Oviedo Telethon Integral Rehabilitation Center modern center counts with a site of 2.130 m2 and was built and equipped thanks to the contribution of the population during the Telethon campaign.
The habilitation of the first Telethon Center in the interior of the country is the first step of many others that the Foundation plans for the future in the interior of the country so as to cover the great need of rehabilitation services that are required in Paraguay
